Review time! Kiko: new collection lipsticks + best mascara

Tempo di review oggi! Ho un bel po' di cose da condividere :) So, let's start!

First of all, directly from the new collection Kiko Chic Chalet, the mat lipstick "03-RED PADAUK-ULTRA LIGHT MAT LIPSTICK". When I saw it, I fell in love: a beautiful dark red, exactly the color I was looking for. Price: about 7.00 euro. Once at home, I try it immediately: very creamy, easy application (although not perfect), wearable color on me. After one minute, I looked in the mirror and...the horror!!! My lips were all dry! Wasn't it supposed to "leave your lips soft and velvet"? Checking on the web, I realized that unfortunately this result is common. I tried to use it with a lipbalm under, but it's the same. With a gloss over it's ok, but so u loose the mat effect. Really a pity, because it was also very long lasting: to take it off, u need a make up remover. Maybe if u use it will be different on your lips, but, in the doubt, don't buy it!

Innanzitutto, il pezzo forte (o almeno così credevo -.-): direttamente dalla nuova collezione Kiko Chic Chalet, il rossetto mat in stick "03-RED PADAUK-ULTRA LIGHT MAT LIPSTICK". Appena l'ho visto, me ne sono subito innamorata: un bellissimo rosso scuro, esattamente quello che cercavo. Costo: intorno ai 7.00 euro (mi pare 6.90). Arrivo a casa e lo provo immediatamente: molto cremoso, applicazione piuttosto soddisfacente anche se non perfetta, colore che a mio parere mi sta bene. Passa neanche un minuto, mi guardo allo specchio e...orrore!!! Le mie labbra erano tutte secche e raggrinzite! Fortuna che "lascia le labbra con un aspetto vellutato"! Cercando un po' di pareri in internet, ho notato che purtroppo non ha fatto quest'effetto solo a me. Ho provato a usarlo mettendo sotto il burrocacao ma nada, la situazione non è cambiata. Con sopra un gloss, l'effetto labbra secche sparisce, ma per far così tanto valeva non comprare un rossetto mat :( Insomma, alla fine è stata una vera delusione, credo che cercherò di finirlo il prima possibile mettendoci sempre sopra un lucidalabbra, perchè altrimenti l'effetto non è decisamente bello da vedere. Proprio un peccato, anche perchè come rossetto è piuttosto resistente: se cercate di toglierlo con un fazzoletto, preparatevi a sfregare, altrimenti dovete usare uno struccante. Chissà, forse a voi non darà questo problema, ma il mio consiglio è, nel dubbio, di non comprarlo, anche perchè il prezzo non è dei più bassi!

Disappointed by the Ultra Mat, but resolute to have my femme fatale lipstick, I come back in Kiko and I bought the dark red "511-LUSCIOUS CREAM LIPSTICK". It's not mat, but it's quite dark and not so shiny :) The color is darker than in the swatch, on the lips is almost as it appears in the package. It's not long lasting, but at least your lips won't be like in an horror movie. Price: 6.90 euro. Recommended!

Delusa dall'Ultra Mat, ma decisa ad avere il mio rossetto da femme fatale, sono tornata da Kiko in tenuta da guerra e ho preso ciò che di più vicino al colore dell'Ultra Mat ho trovato: "511-LUSCIOUS CREAM LIPSTICK", anche questo arrivato di recente negli stores. Come avrete già capito, non è purtroppo mat, ma quelli della collezione satin erano più sul rosato che sul rosso e in fondo questo non è così sbrilluccicoso :) Il colore è più scuro di quello che vedere nello swatch, sulle labbra è praticamente uguale a come appare nello stick. Dura quanto un rossetto normale, ma se non altro le vostre labbra non saranno da film dell'orrore. Prezzo: 6.90 euro. Consigliato!


And now, let's talk about mascara. I rebought the Kiko Ultra Tech (3.90 euro instead of 7.20): at home, I had both this one and the Extra Curl. My opinion is...

Passiamo ai mascara: visto che da Kiko c'era l'offerta (3.90 euro) ho ricomprato l'Ultra Tech, che a prezzo pieno, come gli altri mascara, dovrebbe essere 7.20 euro. A casa avevo già sia questo sia l'Extra Curl; vediamo pregi e difetti di entrambi.

Nice mascara: lashes long and voluminous. Anfortunately, not that curly. Negative thing if u have them straight as me.

Un bel mascara: allunga le ciglia e le rende più voluminose e nere. Purtroppo non le incurva molto: un punto a sfavore per chi come me le ha piuttosto dritte.

KIKO EXTRA CURL MASCARA:

More natural result: curled lashes (more than in the pic) ad separated. Unfortunately, no volume. Maybe I should have bought this one :P

Effetto più naturale rispetto all'Ultra Tech: la foto non rende bene, ma le ciglia sono incurvate e separate. Punto a sfavore: niente volume. Ripensandoci, forse avrei fatto meglio a comprare questo :)

Last fast review: two Essence nail polish.

ESSENCE NAIL ART STAMPY POLISH (white one): I used it for the zebra french, and it's not bad. It gets dry fast and it's really white on your nails. Today it was a bit cracked on the tips, but I washed the plats thrice without gloves :)

ESSENCE NAIL ART FREESTYLE&TIP PAINTER: glittered and with a thin brush, but I don't recommend it :( Too liquid!

Ultima brevissima review: due smalti Essence.

ESSENCE NAIL ART STAMPY POLISH (il bianco): l'ho usato per la french zebrata e devo dire che non è male. Asciuga in fretta e con due passate potete ottenere un bel bianco pieno. Oggi era un filino rovinato, ma c'è da dire che ho lavato i piatti tre volte senza guanti :)

ESSENCE NAIL ART FREESTYLE&TIP PAINTER: glitterato e col pennellino sottile, purtroppo si becca una bocciatura. Molto acquoso e poco scrivente, nella piramide sociale degli smalti glitterati è diecimila gradini sotto il Laylart. Sconsigliato!
